As you may have noticed, I love vintage cameras. I have some different types of cameras in my possession.
This are the ones I love and I use the most: Zenit 12xp and Canon Ae-1.
With my Zenit I learned a lot about how the camera works and to use everything manual. I love the sounds it makes, and the fact that everything is mechanical. The helios lens is very special to me, it creates amazing atmospheres and I love the radial blur.
I've always dreamt having a Canon Ae-1 and this year finally I got it. I think it is capable of creating cinematic atmospheres, with a soft feeling.
The following are some treasures, which I don't use.
This is a Rolleiflex that belonged to my grandfather. He was a photographer. Its too beautiful! I can't believe I have it now.
This Agfa was a gift from my father.

By the way, I have an old Agfa, a different model but it must be as old as yours, and I took a lot of photos with it some time ago. I was so surprised to see how perfect the photos turned out. Did you try it once?

Oh, really? I didn't try my Agfa, because it doesn't work well. Maybe I can fix it someday..

Having a Rolleiflex is my dream. Even though I haven't used it but it must be amazing! :) Maybe some day...
ReplyDeleteI started shooting on film with Praktica B100, but I didn't like it. It's good for couple of first rolls, to learn but then you notice you want more and this camera is not able to give you this. Then I wen for a Zenit TTL which I really liked. I still think it is a good camera. But after some time I realised that I want something even better. And I bought Nikon FM2 which I am using now and I am so so so in love with it! <3
